First-Stage Sediment Filtration for Compatible 20-Inch Systems

The FLT-PP-20 polypropylene sediment cartridge helps capture sand, rust and other suspended particles before water reaches downstream filters. Its 20-inch format suits compatible water-filter, reverse-osmosis and ultrafiltration systems that require this cartridge size.

Check Compatibility

This is the longer alternative to the FLT-PP-10 10-inch sediment cartridge. The two lengths are not interchangeable. Check the cartridge length, outside diameter, centre opening and housing requirements before ordering.

Installation and Care

Shut off the water supply and release pressure before opening the housing. Remove the old cartridge, clean the housing and inspect the sealing ring for damage or displacement. Install the replacement according to the system instructions, restore the water supply slowly, flush before use and check for leaks. Always follow the pressure limit of the housing and complete system.

When to Replace

Replace every 3–6 months, or sooner if water flow drops or the cartridge becomes heavily loaded with sediment. Actual service life depends on incoming water quality and water use.

Water-Treatment Scope

This cartridge filters suspended particles. It does not by itself make water safe to drink and should be used as part of a suitable water-treatment system.
